Watch When to Consider Mindfulness for Patients.
Review the handout for Initial Assessment. Modify as you see fit and then incorporate into your clinic intake paperwork for new patients.
For patients that are interested, assign staff to follow-up with appropriate handouts and instruction on where to access the meditations. You can direct patients to the Navigating the Website video available on my website at www.jointhecircleofhope.com/videos.
Review Patient Handouts on Mindfulness Meditation and How to Access Meditations. Print some for your clinic exam rooms.
Notify Dr. Cooke via email (dr.ellen@jointhecircleofhope.com) if you would like to receive Circle of Hope cards to be available to handout in clinic. Please include the address to which they should be sent.
Listen to the following guided meditations to decide if you’d like to offer them to patients in clinic: waiting room meditation, pre-procedure exercise, pre-chemotherapy meditation, radiation therapy meditation.
